Silas was launched in London 1998 by Russell Waterman and Sophia M. Prantera. Having derived its original style from the British sub-culture in skateboarding, Silas gained the attention of a wide variety of designers, artists and creatives alike.

Silas closed their UK operation in 2007 and was acquired by B’s International where the brand continued to operate across the globe in Japan, allowing the essence of Silas to flourish.

With its success overseas, the new and experienced Silas is now ready to return to the British market, inspired by new beginnings.
